A children's book + digital toolkits
helping kids understand their

inner clues

Why The Inner Clue Detectives?

The Inner Clue Detectives introduces a body-first approach to helping children understand what is happening inside their bodies.

Rather than starting with behaviour or emotions, the approach invites children to notice the inner clues their body sends — the signals that often sit beneath big feelings, overwhelm, or shutdown.

Through gentle storytelling and familiar everyday moments, children begin learning to notice and make sense of their inner clues in ways that feel safe, respectful, and developmentally appropriate.

The story introduces the ideas.

The companion toolkits help bring these ideas into everyday life.

Amazon Review
5 Stars

"This is a very well made and thoughtfully created therapeutic picture book that reflects excellent professional knowledge and experience. The content is clearly informed by evidence and presented in a way that is easy for children to understand.

The interactive elements make it easy to follow and engaging, and I developed a great understanding from reading it. The book is well structured, practical, and encourages thoughtful discussion about what's happening inside the body. It feels purposeful rather than overwhelming, and it's clear a lot of care has gone into how the ideas are introduced.

This is a valuable resource for both classrooms and home settings, particularly for adults supporting children through co-regulation and the development of interoception awareness".
